La Comisión Europea y su DGHOME organiza la reunión anual de la Comunidad de Usuarios de la I+D en Seguridad, Resiliencia y Emergencias, CERIS.

PESI participa desde el inicio de CERIS, antes CoU, como parte de la estrategia de apoyo a la internacionalización de la I+D+i de los Socios y colaboradores de nuestra Plataforma, así como facilitar la participación en los Consorcios que presentan iniciativas a las convocatorias europeas de seguridad (Horizonte Europa, CL3, Civil Security for Society).

La Secretaría de PESI (Javier Larrañeta) participará en esta conferencia anual que se celebrará en Bruselas del 4 al 7 de diciembre. Los interesados podéis poneros en contacto conla Secretaría como coordinar las acciones de Networking durante las reuniones.

INVITACIÓN DE CERIS

Dear Members of the CERIS Community,

Following my message of 6th June, I confirm that the annual (hybrid) CERIS-DRS (Disaster-Resilient Societies area) event will be held at the BAO venue (Brussels) from the 4th to 7th December. The event will start at 13:30 on the 4th and be concluded on the 7th at 12:30. It will cover the main DRS sub-areas, namely CBRNe (4/12), Societal Resilience and Risk Governance (5/12), Technologies for First and Second Responders (6/12) and Standardisation (7/12). A first draft of the agenda will be made available in early October. Possible interest for active participation from DRS and other (ISF, ECHO etc.) projects are welcome before September 30th. Inputs will be taken into account in the agenda discussions with the CERIS-DRS expert group on the 4-5 October. Registrations will be opened at the end of October (a link will be sent by that time).

 

Besides this, we are happy to announce you that a CERIS session will take place at the CBRNe Research & Innovation conference in Strasbourg on Thursday March 21st 2024. The full conference will be held from March 19 to 21, 2024. All information are available on the website: https://cbrneconference.fr/ (registrations are already open).

Further on, we are planning to hold another annual CERIS-DRS event on 5-7 June 2024, back-to-back to the Civil Protection Forum tentatively scheduled on 4-5 June. Details will be sent as soon as the dates will be confirmed.
