Dear members of the CERIS community,
As announced in our save-the-date email of 18 October, please find attached the draft agenda of the FCT/INFRA annual event, taking place in Brussels on 14-15 December 2023. Registration being mandatory, the registration link is now open and you can find it here:
https://eu.eventscloud.com/website/12850/
The first day of this event will be devoted to the issue of data for security research and innovation. This topic is of interest for the overall security research community as data for security R&I are often one of the obstacles for our projects. We discussed about this topic in our various events in the past, and based on these discussions there are follow-up initiatives that we would like to share with you. These initiatives, in return, can also fully succeed only if the whole community is on board and that is another reason why we hope that you will be able to join the event and participate actively in the discussions.
The second day addresses another important aspect of security research, the pillar of civil society and the engagement of NGOs and CSOs in our projects. Therefore we plan panels with NGO/CSOs, project coordinators, as well as other stakeholders (national contact points, policy makers, practitioners, industry) to share experience, raise awareness, and discuss how to improve the involvement of NGOs/CSOs in our programme, for the benefit of all. Again, we count on active involvement in the discussion of all the participants of the event.
Various breaks and dinner on 14 December will be also nice occasions for networking and exchanges. We organise this event for you and we hope that you will join us.
Kind regards,
The CERIS FCT/INFRA team
